Snowshoeing at Shames Mountain: Proudly Supported by:

New to MMC-Shames Mountain this season, snowshoeing is an inclusive and family friendly activity and a perfect low risk entry into the world of winter sports. Thanks to a grant from the Terrace Community Foundation, MMC-Shames Mountain is now offering snowshoe rentals and a specialized trail just for snowshoeing.

Our easy to access snowshoe trails allows for a MMC-Shames Mountain experience in a safe and controlled environment. We offer the snowshoe rental (includes, snowshoes, and snowboard boots) while the trails starts at the top our Green Carpet Conveyor Lift.

Try the Beginner Loop (100m, 5-15 minutes) and Waterfall Trail (500m, 20-45 minutes) from the top of the Green Carpet lift
