DAILY CAP TICKETS

Our new Daily Ticket Cap System will see a set number of day tickets available for each day of operation.

To purchase a Daily Cap Ticket, you can visit our Town Office, the Shames Mountain’s Ticket Office, or our Online Resort Store (https://mymountaincoop.resortstore.net/en/) you will need to pick a specific day for the Daily Cap Ticket to be used. If buying online for your visit, you will need to create an online account with our webstore.

If you need to cancel a Daily Cap Ticket, you must tell us 72 hours prior to the day of your visit. Cancelation involves refunding your purchase to free up the spot for someone else. The refunded purchase can take 5 to 10 business days to be reflected on your credit card. Cancellations must contact us via email at shamesinvoices@citywest.ca. If you simply do not show up on the day of your scheduled Daily Cap Ticket, your ticket cannot be refunded or rescheduled to another day.

We understand that this change will take some getting used to but from December 26th we will only be selling tickets at the hill if there are spots that remain available. For the first few weeks of this new system, we will be capping our daily ticket sales to 200. We strongly recommend purchasing ahead of time on our resort store online. If you have not pre-purchased your ticket online, please be prepared to possibly be turned away if our capacity has been met.

Special Deals

Students in Grade 5 are eligible for a free Season Pass.

In an effort to help promote healthy living and active lifestyles in our Northern Youth, MMC-Shames Mountain will offer a free Season Pass to all students enrolled in Grade 5 during the 2020/2021 operational season. The mountain will be waiving the cost of the Season Pass for Grade 5 students, and will only be charging the nominal pass processing fee ($20+GST). In order to receive the free pass, we ask that you bring in proof of your child’s enrolment in Grade 5 to our Town Office. Please indicate ” Grade 5 Free” as “Pass Type” on application form. The $20+GST surcharge for producing the pass is still applicable.

Discounted Tickets for Grade 4 & 5 Students

MMC/Shames Mountain is also proud to participate in the Grade 4 & 5 SnowPass Program. The Canadian Ski Council’s SnowPass lets Grade 4 & 5 students ski and snowboard two times (NEW) at EACH participating ski area – across Canada! – for only $29.95. To join in, students need to be in Grade 4 or 5 (or 9 or 10 years old) and live in Canada. Every skier and snowboarder is welcome!

You only need to apply once for the SnowPass program and the pass will be valid until the end of Grade 5. This means if you apply in Grade 4 the pass is valid for two years. For SnowPass holders who purchased last year are being grandfathered into the new program and therefore still eligible for 3 visits. For more info go to https://www.skicanada.org/grade-4-5-snowpass/
