Driving

The Shames Mountain Ski Area is located 35 kms west of Terrace and 125 kms east of Prince Rupert in Northwest British Columbia. The final 13 kms of the drive is on a maintained gravel road.

Proper snow tires are mandatory in the winter. This means newer snow tires, studded tires, and/or chains. To check road conditions, visit Drive BC.
