Snow School offers lessons throughout the day. We have qualified and cheerful staff ready to provide your very first lesson or help you work on improving your skills. If you are new to Shames Mountain, taking a lesson is a good way of getting the lay of the land. Lessons at Shames can be booked in advance at the Downtown Terrace Office or at the Mountain in the Ticket Office or Ski School/Rental Shop building.
Discover Skiing & Boarding (8 years +)
This is a beginner lesson for those 8 and up. This is a great way to get your first taste of mountain fun. Rentals, Green Carpet lift Pass, and 2 hour lesson are included.
Price = $58.00 (tax not included)
Group Lesson (15 or more people)
For groups of 15 or more people, check out our group rates.
Private Lesson
If you learn best one on one, a private lesson is right for you. This lesson is also suggested for those 6 years old and under.
Price = $50.00/hr (no tax). Additional Person (max of 6) = $35.00 each
School Lessons
Our school programs are growing in leaps and bounds. Introducing life in the mountains to youth is part of what MMC-Shames Mountain is about! Contact [email protected] to receive your package. Book early as these lessons sell out!
Indigenous Adventure Pass
For the 2022-2023 season, we are offering all Indigenous peoples 50% off of day passes, rentals, and lessons. To purchase your lessons please come to Shames Mountain (discount not available on online purchases). Status card, letter from Band, or other relevant documentation is required for first visit. Lift Tickets are only available at the Mountain, and if we have not met our Daily Cap for that day.
