Harnessing the Power of Our Membership for Growth 

Program Overview 

Our Cooperative thrives on the passion, commitment, and connections of its members. In recognition of this, we are excited to launch the Sponsor Referral Program in October 2025. This initiative aims to leverage the collective reach of our 2,000+ members to attract and solicit new sponsors and advertisers, fueling further growth and supporting our community initiatives. 

Why a Referral Program? 

While we’ve previously encouraged our members to help recruit sponsors, we’ve never formally incentivized participation. By introducing tangible rewards for referrals, we can unlock the cooperative’s real competitive advantage—our engaged and enthusiastic membership. The program is designed to reward members directly for their efforts, fostering a spirit of collaboration and shared success. 

How It Works 

    • Eligibility: All current cooperative members are eligible to participate in the Sponsor Referral Program.

    • Start Date: The program launches in October 2025.

    • Referral Incentive: For each successful referral and sign up of a “new” or lapsed Best Friend sponsor or advertiser, the referring member will receive $100 in resort credits.

    • Definition of Eligible Sponsors/Advertisers:

    • “New” sponsors/advertisers—businesses or individuals who have never previously participated in our sponsorship or advertising programs.

    • Lapsed sponsors/advertisers—former sponsors or advertisers who have not participated in the past 24 months.

Sponsorship & Advertising Tiers 

Below are the categories of sponsorship and advertising offerings that qualify for the referral program: 

    • Best Friends Sponsors

    • Double Black: $5,000

    • Black: $2,000

    • Blue: $1,000

    • Green: $500

Chairback Advertising: $1,500 

Tower Advertising: $1,500 per year (sold as a 2-year contract, billed annually) 

Referral Submission Process 

    • New or Lapsed Sponsor/Advertiser add the Referring Co-op Member’s contact information to the Sponsor/Advertising contract.

    • Upon confirmation of a successful sponsorship or advertising contract, the referring member will be notified and receive their $50 resort credit.

Terms & Conditions 

    • Resort credits are awarded only after the referred sponsor or advertiser completes the sign-up and payment process.

    • Each unique sponsor or advertiser may only be referred once; credits are awarded to the first referring member based on submission timestamp.

    • Current sponsors or advertisers renewing their support do not qualify as new or lapsed referrals.

    • There is no cap on the number of referrals a member can make or credits they can earn.

    • Resort credits may be redeemed for a variety of in-resort amenities and services (full catalog to be provided at program launch).
