Did you know?
- Did you know our Pricing Committee (consists of Board Members, Coop-Members and Staff) is meeting over the next few months to determine what changes, if any should occur. They will be considering:
- Inflation and the associated impact on our operational costs.
- Minimum wage increases – there is another 3.9% minimum wage increase slated for this year. Wages are our single largest expense. This increase will directly affect most of our seasonal labor force.
- Insurance rate increase – insurance costs have nearly tripled since the pandemic
- Fuel increase and carbon tax
- Financial Performance
- Following the 2022-23 season, the coop needed to recover from a nearly $400,000 loss. A position that brought the coop dangerously close to insolvency.
- Cost reduction and the creation of new products was the opted solution rather than an increase to tickets and passes.
- Following the 2023-24 season, we expect to see a loss of approximately $200,000.
- Directions from the cooperative
- Recommendations from the Overnight Parking Committee
- Recommendations from the Uphill Committee
- Recommendations from any other member surveys
- Recommendations from the management team.
- Inflation and the associated impact on our operational costs.
We would like to thank those who have already purchased their 2024-2025 season pass, your trust and support is invaluable to us.
