Unfortunately, the snow is accumulating a little too much and too fast. The access road has just been closed (at 2:30am) by the province because of the elevated risk of an avalanche reaching the access road. This of course means Shames Mountain will be Closed today Sunday February 21st. 2021.

If you had bought a Daily Cap Tickets for today you will be contacted by email with options for rescheduling, crediting or refunding your purchase. We are as excited as you are to safely reopen the facility.
