Since before the pandemic, our organization had been focusing on families and accessibility. Our goal has been to focus on getting people to try skiing. We have accomplished some incredible things at Shames Mountain:
- We built the conveyor lift.
- Made the beginner slope free.
- We maintained stable pricing for Seniors and Youths.
- We made it free for kids age 12 & under.
Individual adult skiers, bore the cost of increasing operating expenses, thank you for helping us create the future of our ski community.
Surveys and anecdotal evidence told us the strategy had run its course. Individual adults alone could not be asked to bare the ongoing inflationary increases.
Through a $50 increase to the Co-op discount, Individual adults who are members of the Co-op pay less for their season pass then last season. Co-op members of the Child, Youth, Senior and Senior + age group will pay the same amount for their pass. This strategy is designed to recognize and reward your continued support, while incentivizing Co-op membership.
What’s Changing?
Effective Immediately, on our Frozen Super Early Bird Pass Sale, which ends June 30, 2025:
- Members will receive a discount of $150 (up from $100) on their Frozen Super Early Bird Pass purchase. Example:
- Adult Member Season Pass will be $838, down from $888.
- Adult Non-Member Season Pass will remain $988.
- Members having purchased their Frozen Super Early Bird Pass prior to this announcement will be contacted by email about the increased coop discount being applied to their resort credits.
