We’re excited to unveil the official artwork for the 2026/27 Shames Mountain Season Pass — a vibrant, locally inspired design created by Eve Hutten.

About the Artist

Eve Hutten is a visual artist from rural Nova Scotia. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University) in 2025. Hutten’s multidisciplinary practice encompasses printmaking, drawing, and oil painting. Her artwork often references the environments she works and lives in. In her recent work, she explores her experience as an agricultural labourer, as well as mythologizing stories from the surrounding community. 

Eve was first introduced to Shames Mountain when she worked as a lift operator for the 2025-26 season. Her design for this year’s season pass draws inspiration from the early morning views on the mountain.
