Dear Friends,

We have recently announced the decision to support other ski areas that have been forced to shut down by offering free lift tickets to the season pass holders of other less fortunate mountains which have been forced to shut down. To some of you, the idea us helping others at a time when we ourselves need financial support is bad fiscal planning. Locally, through the LNG Canada library ticket program, we offer 12 free tickets per day. All one needs to do is head to their local library and sign out the tickets like you would a book. We are now also giving free tickets to out of towners having a tougher time than we are. For the out of towners, obtaining these free tickets is much more complicated than simply heading to the library, they must drive hundreds of kms, or book flights, hotels, cars, etc. Because of the distances between us and closed ski areas we do not expect very many people take us up on the offer. If, however we are wrong and we start seeing more out of towners taking us up on our offer than expected, we will also increase the number of tickets available to locals in libraries.

Sincerely,

Christian Theberge
