In Memory of Mr. Denis Rowse, Shames Mountain is honoured to celebrate one of My Mountain Co-op Shames Mountain‘s founding members on Thursday, December 21. This event is dedicated to his legacy and contributions to the mountain community.
It will be an unforgettable day of nostalgia, skiing, and groovy beats! Participate in the retro best costume contest and other exciting activities for a chance to win fantastic prizes. It’s time to show off your retro style.
Event Highlights:
- Rip’ n ‘Run on AOT at 2:30 PM: Join the action-packed Rip’ n ‘Run on AOT and showcase your skills on the mountain.
- Retro Tunes: At 3:30 PM, DJ D-Train will take the stage to spin your favourite Retro Tunes! Get ready to dance and groove to the beats that defined an era. There will even be kids dance and disco dancing contests. Prizes await the most energetic and groovy dancers!
- Outdoor BBQ and Snacks 4-6 PM (By Donation): All donations go towards supporting the mountain community.
- Free Tubing 4-7 PM: Experience the thrill of tubing down the snowy slopes with our complimentary tubing session.
- Free Ski & Snowboard on Bunny Hill 4-7 PM: Perfect for beginners or those looking for a laid-back ride. Enjoy free ski and snowboard sessions on the Bunny Hill.
