Climate Change Resiliency Project: Phase 6 Dozer-time.
Our Climate Change Resiliency Project is nearing completion. With the lower mountain bisect road completed and most of the base area infill delivered, it is now time to spread and smoothen. A bulldozer will build a smooth path from tower six to tower two on our chairlift line. The bulldozer will also get to work on the Sternwheeler pitch – this pitch is crucial to the ski hill opening in early December. This is the route our snowcats use to transport equipment from the lower mountain to the the T-Bar.
We are very fortunate and excited to have such incredible partners involved in the project.
For safety reasons, we will close access to the base area from Monday to Friday until further notice. This transformative project would not be possible without the help of incredible community partners. We would like to take the opportunity to showcase many of the smaller companies who put up their hands to help:

Kleanza is another example of what makes this part of British Columbia so special, stepping up and helping when called upon.
