We have pulled it off! 

Hi everyone,  

We are thrilled to announce that ALL our lifts will be running this weekend.

I can’t say enough good things about the Outdoor Operations Team that worked their magic and completed in a matter of days, what would normally take a week. 

We are very fortunate and received the right amount of snow at the right time. Even the Tubing lanes, and the black runs will be open for Opening Day Dec. 16. 

We anticipate the conditions in the lower mountain to be marginal. We strongly recommend that beginners stick to the green carpet.  Please be mindful these are early season conditions with many marked and unmarked hazards, and your early season legs are not as good as you think they are.  

As we are running all our lifts and have a full contingent of staff on, ticket will be at their regular price even without all the runs being open.

Our Inside Operations have been working very hard to improve efficiencies and the guest experience in general. In Panhandler Cafe we know last year’s price adjustment and the ban on outside food upstairs had a positive impact on the bottom, yet negatively impacted our guest experience. This season we have taken down the dividers and brought extra seating back upstairs.  

With inflation impacting food cost we were forced to make some changes, and in some cases, change ingredients all together. With a purchase at Panhandler Cafe, outside food is allowed upstairs again. We are also introducing a New Junior Menu. Consistency is also one of our new missions inside, to ensure the best possible guest experience.  Much like last year, we will be opening with a Fryer, Wraps and a Nachos Menu, this will continue until our new staff can get their feet underneath them and fully grasp the amount of Poutine skiers consume. 

Our Ticket Office, Ski School and Rental Shop should feel a little more like business as usual and will be happy to cater to your needs.  And finally let’s not forget about Galloway’s Mountain Bar with their fabulous Sneaky Pete’s and yummy Premium Hot Chocolate for the Kids.
