Mini Rippers is a fun introductory program for beginner and intermediate riders to ski and snowboard with friends. To register please visit our Online Store.
We are stoked to offer a series of discounts for November and December. Sign up before 30th November to receive a 25% discount. While those signing up 1st-31st December, 2024, will receive a 15% discount.
The program is taught using the development and learning program guidelines of the Canada Ski Instructors Alliance and the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors. Registration is open to skiers aged 5 to 11, and snowboarders aged 5 to 11.
The Mini Ripper program will start on 11-12th January, 2025, running from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Participants will sign up for either Saturdays or Sundays, and groups will be adjusted each week as skills develop (i.e. if you sign up on Saturday you will stay on Saturday, but your instructor may change).
Mini Rippers Groups
Our Mini Rippers camp has three different groups to match your child’s skill level. Instructors will assess each child’s abilities and adjust group placement as needed.
- Beginners – For those new to skiing and snowboarding.
- Novice – For those who are ready for the chairlift, can control their speed and turn both directions on Green Runs.
- Intermediates – For those who can control speed, make turns, and ride the T-Bar. Able to ski/board Blue Runs. Introduction to off-piste terrain.
Weekly Schedule
Each group will have a unique, fun schedule with lessons in the morning and activities/themes in the afternoon, tailored to their skill level.
Camp Cost
The cost of the eight-week Mini Rippers Camp includes:
- 28 hours of lessons and learning from our qualified instructors
- Chairlift ticket
- Equipment rental
Prices
Includes rentals, lift tickets and lessons for the 8 week program. Please note that lunch is NOT included in the price but students are able to take lunch with their instructors if they wish.
