Ahead of closing weekend, we would like to remind everyone of our overnight parking rules. It is crucial that anyone planning on overnight parking this weekend adhere to these. RCMP is aware of this annual impromptu gathering for closing weekend, and will possibly be doing patrols.

MMC Shames Mountain Overnight Parking Rules

Overnight parking is a privilege, not a right. We ask that all patrons choosing to Overnight Park be respectful at all times. Please choose to be the reason this activity can continue and not the reason why it has to be stopped.

• All overnight parking in lower lot.

• Dogs

o Dogs are to always remain on leash.

o Dog’s leash needs to be kept to a length that prohibits the dog from reaching other campsites.

o Please pick up after your dog.

• For contact tracing purposes, you are required to obtain an overnight parking pass, registering your vehicle and occupants.

• Overnight Parking Pass is $5 per night

o Available at the ticket office.

o Maximum of 5 consecutive nights at a time.

• Face coverings

o Face coverings are required in all indoor spaces, base area, all parking lots, lift lines and while riding the lifts.

• Overnight Parking Rules

o There is no visiting allowed between overnight parking groups.

o Outdoor socially distanced gathering numbers have been increased.

o We are now allowed to socialize with up to 10 people outside of your immediate household. This should be the same 10 people every time.

o Open alcohol or drugs are not permitted in our parking lots.

o Quiet time is between 11 and 8 am (Snowcats and Loader are excluded).
