SAR training: 11.30am Heli lands below the water sewar building, 12.30am fires up and drops resources at rescue location on flats below 3rd knoll. Shortly after SAR responders deployed for rescue scenario.

Mount Remo Backcountry Society tent stand at beacon park from 10.00am-14.00pm. Come on by and check the rescue caches and have fun in the beacon park. Timed beacon search contest. Free goodies for participants.

At 13.30pm – tree well safety demonstration at the top of Python.

– CSP will be setting up a kiosk from 10:00am-13.00pm at the bottom of the Blue Chair:
- Meeting and greeting with the public
- Demonstrating first aid and rescue equipment
- Discussing mountain safety and Shames Mountain First Aid response
- A focus on tree well safety
- Recruitment of new patrollers
- Handing out whistles and life saver candies
