DESCRIPTION:We welcome everyone to Shames Mountain. We strive to take care of all our community\, and in turn\, the community takes care of Shames. Our Passholder & Member Appreciation Weekend is our chance to do just that. \nIn recognition of our Season Passholders & Coop Members\, we are delighted to announce the 3nd Passholder & Member Appreciation Weekend to take place 28th February and 1st March\, 2026. We are offering season passholders and Coop-members the following: \n\nSeason Passholders and Coop Members receive:\n\n\n\nEarly chair access from 9am on both Saturday and Sunday! (Spring Hours in effect\, chair running 9.30am-4.00pm for non-members\, non-passholders).\n\n\n\nOne Free Lift Ticket – Coop Members and Passholders can use the ticket themselves or treat a friend to day at the hill. (Free ticket based on your season pass age\, tickets must be used on 28th February and 1st March 2026)\nOur Staff discount (25% off) on all food and retail purchases

DESCRIPTION:  \nKermodei Banked Slalom: After the  continued success of our Kermodei Banked Slalom series we are stoked to bring this popular event back for the 2025-2026 season. SUMMARY:Poker Run 2026
DESCRIPTION:This much-loved family friendly event is a great way to have fun\, grab some swag and potentially win some Season Passes. \nWhat is the Shames Mountain Poker Run? \n\nEach participant will be given a map of the five station locations as well as a participant number. Your number will go on either your Season Pass or Lift Ticket.\nEach participant will visit all the stations and receive one random card from each station.\n\nYour card will be recorded on the station sheet\nYour participant number will be recorded on the playing card\n\n\nCard stations will hand cards out from 11.00am\nCard stations will close at 2.00pm\nAfter visiting all five stations\, participants will return their cards to the Ticket Office by 3.00pm to have their full poker hand recorded.\nWinners will be announced at 4.00pm in Galloway’s Mountain Bar\n\nPrizes \nThis year we are offering three season passes across three age categories to those with the best hand. \n\nBest Hand Adult (19 years and up)\nBest Hand Youth (13-18 years old)\nBest Hand Child (0-12 years old)
